Cultural Access and Participation Dashboard Online!
The Cultural Access and Participation Dashboard displays the results of the OpenMusE Cultural Access and Participation Survey 2025. The objective of this survey is to better understand how people across Europe access and participate in music. It explores the ways in which music is experienced in everyday life, the opportunities available to different groups, and the social, cultural, and policy contexts that shape musical engagement.
The results are presented in this interactive dashboard, which is organised around the main themes of the survey: live music, recorded music, music discovery and education, sociocultural aspects of music, music policy, and music making. These sections allow users to explore patterns, differences, and similarities across countries in a clear and user-friendly way.
The survey was carried out between May and July 2025 in five European countries: Germany, Poland, France, Italy, and Spain. It was conducted online using an access panel and includes around 1,000 respondents per country. The samples are nationally representative, with quotas applied for age, gender, and level of education to ensure balanced and comparable results.
The interactive dashboard is designed to help users easily explore patterns and insights, by choosing the filters and views that best match the research or policy questions.
